BLUEBOTTLE KISS – LIVE ALBUM AND FILM

Not a few of you were in attendance at Bluebottle Kiss’ reconvening in Oct ’22. The Sydney show at CrowBar was at the tail end of a tour which marked the first time that Bluebottle Kiss had played together in 15 years, and the first time that the Revenge is Slow era line-up of Richard Coneliano, Ben Fletcher, Ben Grounds and Jamie Hutchings had played for 20 years. The night was a sizzler in more ways than one. 

The good news is that it was captured in hi-fidelity audio as well as visual formats, the better news is that the excellent Love As Fiction records are releasing it on limited edition double gatefold vinyl with a streaming code included to watch the film. 

This would not have come about without the expertise and passion of one Ben DeHoedt who has both mixed and edited the whole shebang, we’ve been involved along the way, and I for one can vouch that the quality is A1!

Work is being done to arrange it to have a limited showing in cinemas in both Melbourne and Sydney, but for the moment you can pre-order the album via Love as Fiction records HERE.

JAMIE HUTCHINGS SOLO SHOWS

I have been invited to play at the Binic Folk Blues Festival solo in France in late July, I’ll also be doing shows throughout Italy during this time. Before I go though, I have two solo shows at two very intimate venues in Sydney as a rare trip to the Blue Mountains.
